Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Formation (the “Service”) while it is in private beta. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Beta status
The Service is provided as a private beta to a limited group of invited users. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Data may be lost; we strongly recommend not relying on the Service as a system of record for anything you cannot afford to lose. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Acceptable use
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Use the Service for managing your own sports teams. Do not use it to harass, defame, or share illegal content.
- Do not attempt to break into other users’ accounts, abuse the API, or interfere with other users’ ability to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you post (event times, team rosters, chat messages, etc.).
Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at the email below. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Children and guardians
Guardians may add children as roster profiles. By adding a child you confirm that you have the authority to do so. Guardians are responsible for the data they enter on behalf of children.
Third-party schedules
If you link a team to an external league schedule (e.g. BAYS), you confirm that doing so is permitted by that league’s terms and that you have the right to import the schedule into the team you manage on Formation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Formation, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time during the beta. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on your account.
